Time to Create Moments of Our Own!

An exact autumn night. Raining and leaves falling. Many people find this gloomy and depressing as they think that everything is coming to an end. The fact that weather and things in surroundings are changing saddens them. But what they don’t realize is that it’s quite the opposite actually. What they call sadness is actually a miracle. What they call the end is nothing but a new beginning.

People say that small happinesses are hidden everywhere, and it is up to us to find them. And this is so true but the question that arises in our mind is that how do we find it? I found the answer to this question in a quotation from a classic book known as, “The Little Prince.” The quotation goes like…

“People where you live”, the little prince said, “grow five thousand roses in one garden… yet they don’t find what they’re looking for..

“They don’t find it”, I answered.

And yet what they’re looking for could be found in a single rose, or a little water…”

Of course”, I answered.

And the little prince added, “But eyes are blind. You have to look with your heart”

To find the small happinessess and pleasures we should look with our heart. With Covid-19 still going on, a lot of people think that their life is getting boring and is losing the spirit which should be present in us during this magical season. This is devastating but what we all can do is not let this negativity come in our way, instead, we should look for joy and if you still feel that there isn’t any then create moments of your own and find joy in them.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I don’t think there would be any better moment than this to find pleasures and joy in this time of hustle.

Let’s bring in some new traditions and create more magical moments to last forever! This year besides baking a turkey let’s bake pies. We can sit in our comfy-chair and cross-stitch by the warm fire and create a family heirloom table runner just like Nancy Fuller’s!

So buckle up and start creating your own moments. Decorate your house for Thanksgiving, try a new recipe to bake the turkey, fill your house with the nice and warm aroma, and even play bingo! Thanksgiving is incomplete with this all-time classic movie so go make some popcorn and then nestle on your favorite sofa in the living room and watch it with your dear ones.

But most of all, share the love and have a wonderful time!
